What you can do as an agent

Register new clients

You create the client's account from your panel, with their details and their certificate, without them having to handle the paperwork themselves.

Take on existing accounts

If the client already uses TicoTaxes, you take them under your account with their authorisation and pick up where they left off.

Invoice on their behalf

Issue invoices, tickets and notes in each client's name, with their own numbering and details, all under version 4.4 v2.

It isn't a commission you have to wait for: it's a discount on each client's plan, every month.

You bring the client in

You register them from your panel, or take over their account if they already used TicoTaxes. They come under your administration.

You pay at a discount

Their plan costs you 20% to 50% less than the public rate. We agree the percentage with you based on how many clients you handle.

Charge whatever you like: the list rate, or a full service with your accounting work built in. The difference is yours.

An agent can register or take under their account any TicoTaxes user, whatever they do for a living.

The one exception: an agent cannot take another agent under their account.

Questions from agents

How much is the discount for each user?
It runs from 20% to 50% off the public rate of each client's plan, depending on how many you handle. The percentage is agreed with you when we activate the panel.
How much can I charge my client?
Whatever you decide. You can charge them the list rate and keep the discount, or put together a package with your accounting work included and charge more. We only invoice you for the plan at your discount.
Is the ₡10,000 instead of my plan or on top of it?
On top. It's added to the plan you already have as a user: it's an add-on to your account, not a separate plan.
Who pays for each client's plan?
As an agent, your clients' plans are invoiced to you at your discount, and you charge each of them whatever you agreed. If you'd rather have one of them pay directly, that works too.
Is there a maximum number of clients?
No. The panel doesn't limit how many users you manage.
Can I take another agent under my account?
No. You can take on users of any type except accounts that also have the agent panel active.
Does the client lose access to their account?
No. They keep signing in and seeing their documents; you work on that same account from your panel.
